A Bed and Breakfast and a Pottery Studio nestled in the heart of the South West of France (Lot-et-Garonne, Aquitaine).
Once upon a time in the middle of Gascogne, there was the residence of Captain de Soulier, one of the guards of King HENRI IV ! Now it has become a guest house situated five minutes by horse from the center of the well-known Musketeer town - les Cadets de Gascogne de Carbon de Castel-Jaloux.
Come and share with us the beauty and the quiet life in this authentic farm from the XVII century surrounded by 27 acres of pasture and forest.
Next to the 400 hundred years old linden trees, four guest rooms have been renovated with care and tastefully decorated and furnished. Available to all our guests is a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge with a fireplace to enjoy special evenings "a la Gascogne".
Each room has kept its authenticity with the original oak wood work, and the original terracotta tiles. The house offers a rural atmosphere all around, being decorated with antique farm house wood furniture, linens, cotton , and stained-glass windows with warm colors; all to help you unwind. We purposely chose high-grade bedding made of organic latex and cotton. For families or large groups, several rooms can be combined into a suite to suit your needs.
We serve gourmet breakfast elaborated with regional organic products.
