The Pottery Studio
I opened the pottery studio at Souliès in 2006 after several years of different courses in Florence (Italy), in the famous school of ceramic Cnifop (in the center of France) and with the master of ceramic Claude Champy.
I love stoneware and china and I turn vases, cups, bowls, pitchers, plates… basically all kinds of dishes, I also make decorative pieces "by hand", modeling.
I sell my potteries mainly here in the Farm or during some art exhibitions. People love to see me working and explaining how clay becomes ceramic.
With the pottery courses, I give the opportunity to discover the clay, modeling and see all the chemical transformations to become a ceramic - and bring back at home "your works" is very pleasant and give a lot of satisfaction.
Pottery studio is open every afternoon between 2PM to 7PM.
